Hey guys!! Was watching Laura Skinner's victory over Julie Woods the other day, and couldn't help but appreciate what a great knockout it was. The crowd certainly loved it. It brought to mind so many other great KO's I've seen over the years... so I thought I'd put in a new thread...
What are the best knockouts you have ever seen?
For the fighters out there, what was the best knockout you have ever seen or personally delivered, and have you ever been knocked out?
One of the best I remember is Greco vs Sweet the 1st time. Awesome one punch KO!

Stan Vs Broussard was pretty viscious, with Broussard being out cold on his feet and falling flat on his face then being taken out of the ring on a stretcher.

Always a good topic,
Best KO's ... man I have seen and commentated some awesome ones!!
I gotta go my number one fave KO of all time is actually a tie between:
SAM GRECO KO Simon Sweet at the Rod Laver Arena... Greco was one of the first to use the dummy right hand that we see so often now.
and
MARK HUNT KO Jerome LeBanner at the K-1 GP... you just had to be there... Oh My Lord, what a KO - 17 unanswered punches!
Others...
IAN JACOBS KO Dale Westerman at the Radisson... we thought Diamond Dale was dead!
STAN LONGINIDIS KO Broussard... I saw that on video... oh man, when Broussard's cheeks blew out it was sickening
LAURA SKINNER KO the chick from NZ... sheer power and spot on the button - my fave women's KO
MARK HUNT KO Peter Grahama in the K-1 Oceania 2001... niiiiice uppercut
There have been heaps more... but these are standouts

Steve Vick Kick K.O of Tony Torscanino (carried out on stretcher)1994?
Jarrod Curtis spinning heel kick on Jacobs Vs Gibson undercard. 1993?
Stephan Nikema one punch K.O Paul Briggs at Jupiters 1996?
Ian Jacobs Kick K.O of Dale Westerman. Sickening sight & sound.
I agree that Sam Grecos Ko of Sweet was awesome. Remember when Hung Phan Knocked out David "Hot Choclate" Parks in much the same way (How ya doin Hot Choclate)
I also remember Anothony Vella knocking a Thai fighter out in Sunshine. Stephan Fox was the Ref and alowed the fight to continue after everyone thaught the Thai was out cold. It didn't take long for the Hitman to finish him of. With a knee I think.
Ian Jacobs knocking out Westerman.
In one of my few fights, I came up against Harry Paschalides (I think that is how you spell his name) on the udercard of Pat Christophies Fights R Us promotion that featured Peter Grahams first fight against Phill Fagan. I remeber people in the change rooms saying "The Chief? Whos that?" Anyway a couple of seconds into the first round, Harry unleashed a leg sweep from hell that landed me on my neck. I got up only to find the canvas a couple of times before being Ko'd by a massive overhand right. Apart from the pain and unbelievable disapointment, was the fact I let my coach down. Sorry Sammy. :)

I thought Slowinski's head kick KO of Mckinnon late last year was pretty sweet. You could hear the crack through the shin pads. It was off his lead leg too!
Yeah both fighter came out smoking in that fight. I knew someone was going to get Ko'd. Was that a first or second round KO? Who else faught that night?
