Jabout, Thanks for that, you are very kind - I will call you. I have been back at work for 1 month and my dad was taking care of my son (5 months) but my dad also has a nighshift job and he was finding it hard to do both (which i fully understand). I am very proud of him for trying, not many grandfathers would try doing both and i love him for just trying (i love him anyway, oh you know what i mean).
after tomorrow, i will not have internet or e-mail, so guys can you please give me more dates.
thanks to everyone for your replies.

with a main event like that you have to give them away!

Ok Matt Hammer, I never professed to being a big time promoter like Tarik, Ray, Josh etc - I put on small shows in NSW for local fighters and am just trying to give something back to the sport that I love.
Your comment not only belittles me, but everyone involved in my show, especially the fighters who all have to start their careers somewhere. JWP and Pete Graham all would have fought in their early careers on shows like mine. I provide a stepping stone for these fighters who may end up fighting on the big shows. No fighter steps straight into the Tokyo Dome! Oh, sorry, maybe you did Matt? Have you ever even climbed over the ropes yourself or are you just one of these keyboard warriers???
Just trying to help out a young girl. I have only put on 2 shows, the first of which sold out - the second was close to a sell out too - I don't need to give tickets away.
I've seen a few of your other posts Matt Hammer, and in my opinion, this forum as well as this sport could do without small minded people like you.

Well said Mr Jabout.
I have been to both of your shows and I must say I was entertained both times.
I am happy to put my fighter on your show this Friday and looking forward to it.

No probs wit the card just making the main event an Australian title. If you needed a title on the card you should have made it the Western Sydney title, casue Aust title should be for two of Australias best & they are not that.An oz title between Penrith n Blacktown? Correct me if im wrong but aren't these two suburbs next door? Can't believe WKBF would sanction.

Because the WKBF's pre-requisite for putting on a title fight has nothing to do with where the fighters come from. Von Badato is already the East Coast Title holder, so the next step for him is Australian Title.
I think i'm missing your point...???
Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley both live and train in the same town - does that mean they shouldn't have been able to fight for that World Title???

Jabout,
do you have a website of your promotions (details of cards)? Sometimes the low key programs are a lot of fun to watch as they are low on the b/s factor. Wouldn't mind popping around.
Nice sparring session with Matt Hammer there...<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
-----------------------------
A man's gotta know his limitations...
just a question Matt Hammer have you ever being in the ring?
Are you a fighter?
If so where have you fought?
If not, Try stepping into the ring and then come back and tell everyone how sub-standed the shows are.
there is alot of glamour in the Ray and Tarik shows, but wheather you are fighting on there shows or shows like jabout if you are in the ring it is all the same to a fighter.
Show some respect or if you can put a better show on. DO IT.

Through the experience I have had in this sport I can see JabOut Promotions been the Number One Promoter in NSW no matter what sanctioning body he promotes, I have found him to be a well organised and upcoming Promoter.
All the best for your show on Friday..
Thank you for supporting the sport....
Regards
Lucy Tui
If in doubt JabOUT...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>:)

I agree with Mick
Matt Hammer have you ever fought ?
I have and i didnt care if it was a topline show or a small show
I was just happy to fight
I fought on some topline shows in NZ , Brisbane , Perth and Sydney and i also fought many small shows too
I am sure promotors like Lucy Tui and Steve Jez and a few others were grateful for me to fight on their smaller shows
I didnt care what level the show was , i fought the same no matter what and gave it my best
I think you are being very selfish in critizing promotors who are trying to put shows on as best they can , it isnt an easy job
Also , I bet the fighters are happy to fight on smaller shows to gain experience too
I truely wonder if you have the spine to say such comments to the promotors/fighters faces and not from the safety of hiding behind ya keyboard ??
cheers
Drew
We who are truely brave will never live in fear!

I have a good mate who has stepped back into the ring after a long time off. I got him into training now the crew at jabout have got him back into it, and winning fights. When you start out fighting your just greatful for any fight your trainer can get you and its shows like jabout, pitbull promotions and even j.n.i that give you the chance. Who is on the main event is the be all to end all of the show.
Csezko you should have a talk to Matt Hammer.
Lanks
thank you matt hammer.
