Two blokes with the ugliest fighting styles out there going at it, I actually think it will be entertaining match up!

haha Harls, that's right. Remember the fight between Te Huna and one of the big Islander chiefs (I can't exactly spell his name but there is 140kgs of him) in 2003 I think it was. Actually proved to be extremely entertaining slugfest.
Te Huna is too much muscle, tires too easily, but comes out strong for a round or two. That jumping, sliding front kick of his cracks me up.

Mate you couldn't teach that front kick! it is so awkward and unnatural looking. I remember the fight you mention, it was entertaining. Was his opponent's name Zack Tumafi?

Went to the show last night. Not too bad of a show. A bit disorganised but being their first show you kind of expect that. Would have loved for some fights to go a bit longer as well.
Kym vs Andrew was definetly fight of the night.

Check out site in my signature for more information. James Tehunna posts in the forum also.

This is how the scenario goes... I was at the fight, I have photos of the fight and Jamie was 100% in control from the opening bell. For those that don't know, Matt Knights nickname is "spanky". he even walks around with a tshirts saying "spanky"...
I dont know the technical term but Jamie had hold of Matt's legs, Matt's shoulders and head was on the ground, Jamie was on top of him and Jamie, as a light hearted joke, turned to his friends, smiled and "spanked" spanky on the ass! Then finished the fight with consecutive punches to the head before the ref stopped the fight.
Matt Knights camp said that Jamie tapped out. I don't think a guy that is top mount, in total control would tap out.
Something silly Jamie did that I guess now he wishes he didn't - but anyway, bring on the rematch!

Matt Knight now knows that James didnt tap. But hte fact is that he relinquished the grip he had on James when James started tapping/spanking. An unfortunate incident that no doubt James will learn from.
