How's this one, speaking of Sam Soliman!

SOLIMAN TARGETS HOPKINS!

Former Commonwealth middleweight champion and three-time Australian titleholder IBF #13 Sam Soliman (14-7, 4 KOs) has called out for WBC/IBF/WBA middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins to defend the title against him. "Hopefully I am getting closer to my dream of challenging Bernard Hopkins for the world title," said Soliman. "I was getting concerned that my chance would not come as Bernard is getting older and I thought he might retire before I get my chance at the title. I am prepared to fight anyone who is rated above me to fast track my chance at the championship." Soliman lost a disputed twelve round points decision to world-rated middleweight Ray Joval in Amsterdam on June 27, 2001. Howard Eastman won the Commonwealth middleweight title from Soliman in a tough twelve round contest in England on September 18, 2000. "Both Howard Eastman and Ray Joval have refused to give me a rematch," states Soliman. "They are both running scared. My message is loud and clear - Hopkins look out. When I get my chance, my dream will become your nightmare." Soliman is managed by Melbourne businessman Stuart Duncan who said. "I will do all I can to see that Sam Soliman does get his world title opportunity." (09/01/2002)
