Hey Glen, I hope you are right, but after his dismall display for the title and having a fair rest maybe he (Kelly) will be hungry again, no matter how you look at it, Kelly is still a great fighter.

Well this fight is on tonight. Any predictions? My money is on Briggs to slowly pick Kelly off and finish him in round 8!

You may all be underestimating Glen somewhat! Styles make fights and Glen can make this fight very frustrating for Paul if he sticks to his game plan of boxing and giving Paul lateral movement while working behind his jab and darting in and out with short sharp combinations.Do not be surprised if Glen stops Paul around the 10th or 11th round as you all forget Pauls chin is certainly NOT world class. With Dino Billinhurst in his corner Glen will be fighting the way George Reno taught him and has a good chance of coming out a victor tonight.Power and explosiveness may be in Pauls favour.Boxing skill and experience is in Glens favour. Speed is roughly equal although i would say slightly in Glens favour. Desire to win should be more so for Briggs as Glen has already received his big payday BUT we will certainly find out tonight. My prediction is Glen by 11th round TKO!! Well thats what i bet 100 on so he hoping im right.

Brave move Deanspartan and all the best of luck for your gamble!
I personally don't think lateral movement will worry Briggsy at all. He fights just as comfortably out of both stances and switches with ease.I think he will work Kelly onto the ropes and bang him when he has nowhere to run! As for his chin, I don't think that's a problem either. He hasn't been knocked out since 95? 96? whenever he fought Gurkan, and he's taken hard punches since that without flinching. My money is still on Briggs. Pity I'm not going to get to see the fight. if anyone does though, please post results as soon as you can, thanks!

Hey, I read the results on another board. I actually forgot that it was on tonight. Go to www.users.bigpond.com/julla.
Apparently Briggs was chasing Kelly throughout the fight.
Briggs is a great fighter.

Well Paul you cost me $100 but you put on a million dollar performance.I honestly thought that Glens experience and skills would be to much BUT once again you have proved me wrong.Best of luck Paul and i hope to see you bring the Lightheavy belt home. What a long way you have come since the early 90s.Another kick/thai boxer going places in Pro-Boxing!!

Firsty too da ghost, I agree "Bamm" what a KO and Briggs is unstoppable, but what do you mean about Briggs being the next big thing in Australian Boxing. He's been the next big thing since winning the Australian Title ages ago and if you've followed his boxing career you would have thought even earlier! Onto Allan f, King Paul has wanted a crack at mundine for yonks, with the Briggs camp putting up some big coin to lure anfhony into certian death, but as mundine does (or his camp) he ducks his way out. Briggs would hospitalise The (so called) man, being the reason this fight hasn't happened and never will. Also Rick Thornburry is almost certian to beat Ant man. If not I will nuddie run through Crown or anywhere you suggest.....
