I watched your fight with Chris Allen again for what seems like the 100th time last night<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>, was this your toughest fight !
It was on the Blitz Top 10 tape (you starred on 3 occasions, a dubious loss to Daniel Dawson at Judgement Day...yet another extension round by memory, what is it with judges and you and extension rounds, lol) and a win over Scotty Bannan.
Who has been your toughest opponent and what has been physically your hardest fight. Geez you took a hammering against Chris Allen but you just kept coming back, like a true warrior. Do you ever know when to stop !!
And btw, what ever happened to Chris Allen, did we see him back in the country after that !

Hey mate,
The Chris Allan fight is one of those fights you would love to forget. It's a funny story because the night of the fight was the eve of my 22nd birthday, I ended up with 5 cuts and Peter Lewis couldnt stitch me until the end of the show. He came into the room at 12pm, I had to spend the first two hours of my birthday getting 54 stitches in my face.
Chris Allan was one of my most frastrating fights I have had. Orono was my most painful, he cut me 13 stitches through the eye brow and 8 under my eye. It felt like I was hit across the face with a bat. That was round two and they stopped it round three from to much blood.
My hardest fight was against a guy named Toyota, it was my 4th fight in Thailand in a small stadium called Bung Yi. I weighed in at 76 and the Thai 78kg. We had a war just beating him on points but both forarms were black and blue.
Oh the good old days.

thanks for taking the time ti post JWP, are you back in QLD ?
When do you leaave for overseas again ?
cheers
Hi Tao,
When I fought Orono the second time I beat him every round but in round four he managed to get that left elbow in once again giving me another 5 stitches, so all up his given me 26 stitches. I didn't mind though, I think of it has my world title scare.
Hi Lucjan,
Back in Qld and started training again. Next fight is on Rays show on December 18th then going to have a holiday for two weeks over Christmas. After that I am not sure when my next fight will be, I still have another three fights with K-1 Max next year and three with Super League but still waiting to be given dates.
I hope it's a busy year again like this year.

JWP,
Thanks for the replies.
The Chris Allen fight whilst I agree from where you're coming from, it just showed me how determined 1 can be and what they will go through. You showed a never give in "nok sun ka" (excuse the spelling) Great White Warrior spirit.
It was my first true taste of Muay Thai, and now can't get enough of it.
I've been fortunate to sit front row at Limpinee and Phuket stadiums, and look forward to coming to the Gold Coast on the 18th December.
Anyway, thanks for making yourself available for one and all to chat to a true champion of the sport, your insights are valued.
Cheers.
