Mark Hunt wins his 1st Pride match.

Mark Hunt has successfully defeated Dan Bobish at 6.23 of
round 1.
The ref stopped the contest after Hunt had delivered a stinging knee to the back of the head and followed it up with a kick to the mid section,leaving the American face down on the mat.

Soa Palalei lost at 4.55 of round 2 via submission.


Former K1 fighter Mirko"Cro Cop" Filipovic took on American
Josh Barnett(former UFC heavyweight champ).
at the start of the bout.... Barnett attacked with heavy fists.
As "cro cop" attempted a high round kick... Barnett rushed him and tried to gain the top position as the fight went to the mat.
In doing so... Barnett landed on his left hand and forced a dislocation of his shoulder.

When "cro cop" moved into gaurd.... Barnett tapped out.... as the pain was too much to continue.
"cro cop" has offered a rematch when he has fully recovered.

I HEARD SOA DOMINATED THE FIGHT BUT DIDNT HAVE THE STAMINA TO FINISH CHOI MU BAE OFF AND UNFORTUNATLEY GOT CHOKED OUT WITH 5 SECONDS REMAINING. IM SURE HE WILL GET ANOTHER CRACK AT IT CONSIDERING HIS PERFORMANCE AND THIS TIME MAKE IT A DEFINITIVE WIN.

such a shame we get very very limited coverage in australia, wish there ws a place we could a least buy the dvds. the ufc dvds are now slowly begining 2 surface.

It is good to see Mark is still fighting ,even though it aint in K1 .Since he has left the K1 scene it has not been the same and I am no longer interested in their promo s.He was the X factor that they needed....He is sorely missed.Dangerous.

It was his 2nd match in Pride. He lost his 1st to Hidehiko Yoshida by armbar.

The American was not left face down on the mat. He staggered and fell, almost deliberately, partially due to lack of heart and wearing the effects of a Hunt onslaught.
