View Full Version : NSW MIA's
I have a general question for all fight NSW fans and trainers there are a few guys Ive seen and been keen to see more only to find they are missing in action! They are:
Scott Archer- undefeated and scary
Mark Vella- from pitbull tough aus am champ? Possible opponent to Badato
Josh Bromley-I know he retired but hey! from Pitbull Gym
Ben Steel-World am champ with only couple losses from Murdoch snr gym super technical super fit has only lost in thailand i think cos you cant count the Galloway loss
Peter Brennan used to pop up every weekend fighting any one any where has fought every one in nsw nearly had over 35 fights then ????
Luigi Colombi-another big guy from Favuzzis who actually had an impressive war with Godzilla Chrsopoulidies but remains unheralded and has disappeared from the scene?
Any one who can fill me in or add to this and let their faves know they want them back in the square ring feel free.

jt from to answer your questions.
Scott Archer is now training at Supalek 108 I have been told.
Mark Bullet Vella has retired from fighting due to work commitments.
Josh Bromley is living near Glebe / Balmain and teaching Kickboxing style aerobics over that way. Only spoke with him last night he called in to see me.
Ben Steel is still fighting I think he fought up at Newcastle a couple of months ago.
Peter Brennan is training out of CKO and fighting mainly Pro boxing.
The other guys I couldn't help you with.
Pitbull thanks for your help pity Brennan chasin the money he would be better using his hands in the kick boxing style.
Scott Archer is very impressive saw him take tehuna apart with ease i would love to see him take meads on in a full on power war!
Pity about Vella what happened Pitbull? thats almost another Bromley like retirement isnt it? Vella had so much potential I thought maybe a big pro fight later on with Badato may have been a ripper once Mark caught up in exp.

jt,
Did you see the hotshots promotion in sydney recently? If so, what did you think of the lightweight kb4 final fight? It was between Reinhardt Badato and Adam Partridge from Qld!

How are ya JT.
Im still around mate, but just not in the ring. I still try to go to the shows when I can - Paul is right I have retired from fighting. Saving for a house is tough and I have had a few promotions at work. Ultimately I am building on my career now so I guess its all about change and growing up.
Im still keen in my fitness and I run every morning and have been training in the garage on the bag and weights too.
The KB4 Finale was great - Adam Partridge really took the fight to Badato and his persistency paid off. A big credit to him in beating a seasoned fighter such as Badato.
Enough from the hasbeen, take it easy! - dont forget im still watching... HAHAHA

Jt good memory but go back and watch the video before you make timed assessments I got ko'd in about 50 seconds. But regardless what did happen to that guy he hit twice as hard a s cedric Kongaika and had me down from a jab, however if he is still training a rematch wouldnt be entirely out of the question!!
Sorry GO GO! I mean Trent, but you have to admit it looked painful and Nathan woluld have made for some power packed fights with the likes of Tehuna Luzua or maybe even Sampson

Hey,
did any of you other guys see the Colombi Vs Godzilla fight?
I can't remember now what happened, but remember Colombi walked out of the ring.
It was over a non standing 8 count or something. Very strange event in Aus Kickboxing History.
Awesome
