I reckon Jordan would probably go the distance if he kept a good guard up. I like watching Jordan fight, and he seems to have a very nice technique. I agree that he's come an incredible way. Defeating Chapman is a huge accomplishment, and I honestly didn't think he was up near that level when he did it. So he totally surprised me when I read the result on Ax.

But, like anyone else who fights Zam, make one mistake, and the next time you blink you find yourself looking at the ceiling.

It's mistakes like letting anything even half-arsed from Zambidis land on your head that looses people fights. I don't think Mike is unbeatable by our locals. I do think there are fighters in the Oceania that could beat him by outscoring him, but keeping their guard has to be first priority. Only the silly, or the granite chinned and super experienced should try and box with him, cause sooner or later he more often than not, does land that lights out shot.

I don't mean to harp on about Zambidis, but the only guy in the Oceania that I would give better than even odds is Parr. And even here, only just. But, I see a big step in quality from Parr to those that I would place next in line. Had Dawson still been a kick fighter, I would have had him after Wayne. And then Chapman, but Shane can be so up and down sometimes. Sometimes he looks so super agressive, and at other times it feels to me that he just gives his opponents a little too much respect, and a little too much room to work on him. Unlike Parr who'd walk forward straight into anything.

But, Zam does need to fight people if we're going to see him competing in Aus. And because I can't see a fight with Parr happening in Australia real soon, Jordan's probably as good an opponent as we're likely to see.

Jordan does have a decent chin, but not even close to Ozkan's. He did get up from this shot by Foley, but we have to wonder If he could get up from one by Zambidis. I don't think many could truly argue that Zambidis has one of the best examples of great 'Hand - Eye' co-ordination in kickboxing.

Pics from Foley Vs Jordan, late 2001.
Greg was cut and the fight stopped, with Foley winning by way of Rollback. Both guys wobbled each other pretty good during the fight. If I remember correctly, Foley was defending his amateur world title. I also remember thinking that I felt it was either pretty close, or that I just had Jordan ahead by a point. I'm not sure if these guys ended up re-matching. The next time I saw Greg fight, he was K.O'd by Ahsley White. But, Gregg ended up returning a K.O when they next met.

I'm looking forward to seeing Foley fight this Sunday night. I'm hoping a great performance from him, because he has been fighting long enough now to take that next level up. The pics from this show where from one of the best Sydney shows I had ever seen. On the same card was the Nezif V Duett fight that had the controversial 'On the Bell K.O. Tosca fought and defeated Steve Jez, and we saw Rippey fighting Aberdeen.

Hey Lucy, why did Richard Bradford stop promoting. He had some really great cards. Other than Tarik's shows, I felt he was the next biggest spending Promoter that I had seen in Sydney. I mean, he didn't have a problem putting on 3 pro fights, all worthy of Main Event status on their own.

Someone please talk Richard Bradford into promoting again.
