Just asking in case the card was changed.
I now terribly dissapointed I couldn't make the show, unfortunately got stuck in Canberra untill about the time the shouw was supposed to start.

Can someone give us a in depth fight report.

Meads is the Man. Personally, I reckon N.S.W most exciting fighter to watch.
I really hope he decides to give fighting as a Heavyweight a decent shot eventually. He's done nothing but impress me more and more every time he fights. Defeating Raph Tai is a very impressive feather in his cap. This guy has a huge future ahead of him. Unfortunately, we don't get Shane on Melbourne shows. Actually, I don't know that I've ever heard of him fighting in Melbourne. But he would make a totally awesome semi main event for now on Solak shows. He's definitely main event quality, no doubting that, it's just that I reckon it's unwise to have a fighter who hasn't fought that often in Vic and isn't as known to the loyal live audiences, unless just canon fodder for the established Vic Stars.

Well done to Greg Foley.
Duett is a great fighter. I've seen him drop Jenk pretty badly back on the 'End of Millenium' Solak show in 99. Though, Jenk regained his composure and ended up winning by K.O in the next round - if I remember correctly. Foley has always possesed very decent K.O power in his hands, and it's a good notch.

I'd now like to see him having a couple of fights against the QLD hardnuts that have had 70 odd MT fights, in QLD but under K-1 rules. Only because most of these blokes are so used to the wicked punsihment and the mental endurance needed to withstand knee barrages. JMO, but I reckon the Queenslanders in general seem to be a wilder and more conditioned bunch. I can think of a half dozen of these very experienced guys, but it's hard to remember weights of all these blokes. I know it's bad form on my behalf, but I've spent way too much time ignoring fighters that were under 70kg mark. It's only recently that I started paying attention, and that's mostly because of the quality that I'm now starting to notice and pay attention, mostly because of how impressibe Aaron Leigh is, that I check the lighter fighters out to see if they would be decent opposition.

I just read on the Ax that it was Mita Aporo that Shane Meads fought. And it appears that Shane was Challenged by Peter Graham.

Too cool.
A huge step up for Shane though, fighting the Oceania K-1 Max champ.
Regardless, I predict he goes the distance and gives us an entertaining fight.

Yes paul the peter graham & shane meads fight WILL happen..its just a case of when..pete has 22kgs over shane,,tarik said it would be next year..there was some controversie which im sure fox wont air between shane,pete and some "supposed chatter" that was flying around on the night

this fight would be probably the biggest step up shane could ever ask for and as shane said he had no problem accepting the fight ( some say there was a chance they were going to fight that night but mita was already committed)
i like peter graham & have respect for him but him jumping up when shane was interviewed after the win and snatching the mic from shane,just made him look very jelous and unproffesional when shane had done NOTHING wrong to merit pete doing that
the fight when it happens i belive will be the fight in oz to NOT miss

It was a great night and i enjoyed myself totally good venue to,when the iron some small bugs out
