K1 Anzac Aust vs NZ on Foxsports!

Looks like Foxsports will be showing the
K1 Anzac event next Wednesday night (5th May) in place
of the Super League, (The Super League will hopefully
be shown in the following weeks).

This will be a show not to miss!

There has been a further change to the programe,
On the 5th the Top Ten battles will be shown,
then on the 12th May the K1 Anzac will be on!
The Super League will start on the 19th May.

Lock it in!

I am pleased to see a mix of shows from overseas and locally on Fox.
I really hope they show the super league from Europe... this is one I am keen to see.

Kickboxing IS rating well on Fox which is WHY we're seeing more of it, hence K-1 Anzacs, Superleague, Top 10 more shows than ever this year!

Guys,

You can't miss K-1 Anzac, I just got the tape today.
It's the most exciting non MT show that I've seen in a couple of years. You've got to do your best not to miss Jordan Tai's K.O of Steve Duett. Chapman's K.O over Ashley White, Slowinski's K.O of peck all awesome. And the Chrisopolidis Vs Terangi fight is like nothing we've seen before. Sure we've seen Chris in some wild fights, but nothing to this extreme.

I told you guys... these shows in New Zealand are the best K-1 shows you will see outside of Japan itself and some of the best shows full stop. Four thousand people sold out every time, on commercial TV, huge media, great fights.

I must say the show was pretty good. Big Chris put on the best performance I've seen from him, Ashley White taking on a more experienced and heavier opponent in Chopper, and showing everyone why he has the biggest ticker going around at the moment. Jordan Tai's great knee KO of Douett and Paul Slowinski putting the smackdown on Peck.
Yes it was a good show apart from one obvious factor, the absolutely DISGRACEFUL Referees. In particular in Chris's fight, I thought I have seen some pretty bad decisions made from Ref's from time to time, but this was in a league of it's own. I'm sure 90% of the people in the crowd would have done a better job and would have had a better understanding of the rules! If you think I'm being harsh, just watch the fight, I'm actually being conservative..

ashley white might not be the best fighter but god the boy can take a beating. he is one tough SOB. as for big chris that would have got to be the messiest and dirty fight that i have seen in a while. they turned it into a good old fashion street fight. great to see.

I think I'd actually like to see Chris fight a No Rules fight. Man, he's such a mauller that I reckon he'd have to be pretty good.

Chris has certainly come along way hasnt he, hes kicking and overall technique has improved out of site. He showed alot of heart and determination and took the fight straight to the big man. I'd have to say that was one if not Chris's best fight ever.

I was just talking to an industry person the other day about Chris.

We were both agreeing that Chris is going to be the next big Aussie Heavyweight to beat. The one criticism that was brought up was that Chris needed to be able to change game plan mid fight, mid round etc.

Chris now doesn't have too much trouble in mainting his point scoring to be able to keep up with Oceania's best. He seems to have as durable a body and in many cases a better chin than his local peers. I'm honestly looking forward to seeing just how far a now more mature fighting Christopolidis can get himself up the elite K-1 ladder.
