His comment at tonights PRIDE HWGP
" I`ve been excited watching these fights. I`ve been the K-1 champ, now I want to be the MMA champ. I have a question....where should I fight....which should I chose????? If you are a man you always want to be the best in the world....I want to fight in PRIDE! When I stand here next time it`ll be as a PRIDE fighter"
Tanigawa said two weeks ago that Mark fighting for PRIDE would breach his K-1 contract......he`s announced it anyway.

MMA? are you kidding me?? Mark's a powerful fighter, but he wasn't exactly a good stand-up grappler, I'm not sure how he'll do on the ground. Best of luck to him though, and it wouldn't surprise me if/when he kicks ass in that arena as well. Go the Doctor! subscribe those sleeping pills!!

It's a pity that the doctor is leaving the K1 ring, i really enjoyed watching him fight, especially the night that he fought Ray Sefo (2000/1??) and basically demanded that Ray try to knock him out, best of luck to him in the MMA
*Someone find me a new Gym to train at!!!*

Would you mind expanding on that a little? Do you know how long he`s been training, and what sort of level he`s at on the ground?
I`m with you, I just can`t wait to see him in the ring again!!

i dont know what level he's at but i heard that he's been training for some time under Marcelo Rezende.

Marcelo is a good instrucotr. He is a Gracie Barra BJJ black belt so no doubt it will god Mark Hunt some good. However i dont think he has been doing it long enough to defend himself from Submission attempts from the likes of Nog and Fedor.
What he should be practicising alot is wrestling and learn how to sprawl.
As a big Australian MMA fan, hopefully we will see him kicking ass on the international stage but it will not be easy for him.
Australian Matt Foki will also be fighting in Pride shortly.
