How was the rain...pity....but still a good show
the ring was always wet from the rain pouring in.....nothing could be done....but I must admit that the fighters were impressed. If you thought that at other Tarik promotions they were slipping on the Crazy John logo well....this put all to shame.

woah, first round K.O.
Can someone give us some details please, especially Ozkan V Bannan and Forrester V Douett.
Gurkan called me earlier in the week and told me he was going to just jump on Scott early. Sheet, sounds like the fight went to plan.
Scottya, looking forward to some images.
Well done to Steve Douett also. I thought Shannan would take this fight.

Never mind, I just found the other thread.
poor Bannan, not the best of runs he's had especially in the last couple years.Anyone agree its time he should chuck it in for good?Personally i cant see him going anywhere. He was stopped by Prince Amir and JWP at 70-72kgs (1st and 2nd rnd ko respective) what possesed him to fight ozkan at 78?lol!

It was a great night of fights regardless of the boycott from WMC trainers and fighters, and it can only get better from there.
Ian Jacobs did a great job and would like to congradulate him on his first promotion with Tarik....
Goodluck Ian for your next show.

1. Why was there a boycott from the WMC trainers and fighters?
2. And who is now in gurkan's corner?
3. Why was Nuggett there for Zam, when it was KB rules?
Sorry for the questions, but I really want to know!

They did not want Tarik Promoting in Qld.
Nugget was in Gurkan corner not Zams,
Gurkan is now trained by Marouf the french guy who lives in Melbourne at Tariks gym.

Did anyone hear what it was that Tarik said on the night that has the QLD fans pissed off? I wasn't at the show, but many of my friends texted me with results and said that Tarik is out to make enemies is QLD - is this an over-reaction or fair call? (Maybe they are just winding me up?)
I don't know if it is true, but based on countless other shows I'd say he always puts on a professional show but I reckon he shouldn't be touching that microphone - he is sometimes too disrespectful (save the trash-talking for the fighters to do)
Also, did anyone else believe that Scotty Bannan was unfairly called KO? As I wasn't there I suspect that my mates may be having a lend on both accounts.

Thanks for the reply Lucy, and I was aware that Kerry was in Ozkan's corner, I just worded it incorrectly following my previous question.
So I guess, Tarik and Gurkan aren't too popular with Nugget etc.
I'm still a little pissed that he never gave JWP his world title belt after he defeated Scott Bannan a few years back! after he promised. Although I doubt it is the first promise Tarik has ever broken concerning promoting kickboxing!

"Also, did anyone else believe that Scotty Bannan was unfairly called KO?"
He was out cold. He got up and the first thing he to his corner was what happened to which nathan carnage signalled a punch. he didnt know what hit him and i personally thought he was in control.
Was that Guy Sebastian?? I thought he was too small.

Scotty got KO he definetly did not know where he was, it was shaping up to be a good fight...he said to me afterwards it happened so fast.. the punch Gurkan gave him...
Gurkan is back to his old self, it will be interesting the fight between him and Nathan Corbett...
