Modified thai?

are leg catches allowed in modified thai rules? i have only watched a few bouts and i cant remember if they were used or not.

does anyone know where i can access, or get a list, of modified thai rules in Oz, more so in south east qld. I dont know if theres different rules for different states etc. but if anyone perhaps has a web site that would be great.

You can normally get a full set of rules from each sanctioning body. This will normally cost you a registration fee though($50.00 for WKA). Also try the respective sanctioning bodies web sites.

On fox they used to have American modified rules of Muay Thai,
You could knee but not to the head! You could elbow, but not to the head. You could not use spinning or any backfist..... was very ordinary... Never saw an elbow... to the body!!!!
