How's this for a great response on the interest of this event.
I called up 2 separate hotels today in my area, asking for the 'Sports Bar / Public Bar' to see if they had tonight's fight - Both women who answered the phone didn't transfer me but said "You calling about the fight.. Sorry love not here!"
No-one was rude but I actually asked by curiosity "how did you know what I was calling about" - the reply was "Oh.. Gawd love, so many people have called today about this one. Try the blah blah Hotel".
My point is that it is great to see (at least the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne) are very interested in this Mundine Fight. It would be nice to see the Hotels supporting it a little more as well (more beer sales from the locals right !?)
Oh.. and I finally found the Burvale Hotel will be hosting it! Can't wait!
