Just read "Johnny Lewis " the biography..by Paul Kent...great read couldn't put it down.

excellent stories about some of Aussies famous and not so famous, rugby players, boxers amateur & pro fighters and crims that trained at his gyms.

Talks about Paul Briggs, Kosta Tszu, Fennech, Shane Knox, Justin Rowsell.

Really a good bloke.. Knows how to lift a fighter when he has nothing left.. what to say and when.

Also 'American Son My Story" ..Oscar De La Hoya with Steve Springer.. one of the few boxers that knew how to handle the money he made.. talks about the grubs he met, the mafia and so on.. Top Book

Mafia no way! They wouldn't be involved in fighting. It's all clean and pure with no dodgy results. Only an idiot would think it's dodgy sometimes :-)

I read an extract of the Johnny Lewis book - the part where he takes Tommy Raudonikis to country NSW for a demonstration boxing bout. It was gold. Can't wait to read the rest of the book.
