John Scida told me a couple of days ago that Jenk has been training hard in Turkey. I'm pretty sure he also said that he will try and get Jenk a fight for October.

It's gonna be good.

He sure did give JWP a run for his money. Again, only his fitness let him down.

If there would be a rematch with JWP V Behic, this time round behic would have the better of him.

I thought Jenk actually said at the end of that fight that he went up there & fought Wayne for some knee experience anyway & he thought he might have lost, if he even thought he lost then it seems a bit silly to get irate i reckon! I thought his style actually gave Zam a run for his money, just less fitter than Zam, not many would be fitter than Zam though i spose....??

Im not making a comparison between JENK and ZAM, just making the fact that Jenks fitness is his only weakness which showed in the JWP fight.

Im sure the main reason due to the judges not giving the decision to Jenk may have been his low work rate of knees.

I don't think Jenk has any fitness issues at all. I reckon it's just his fight style, which I'm not criticizing at all. I don't know if any of you guys have noticed, but it seems Jenk pays little attention to who he's fighting. He just starts his fight and does his thing regardless. Where as other fighters would approach Zambidis differently, like stay the f*uck out of reach as much as possible. To me Jenk fought Zam no differently than he did a much less dangerous opponent.

I do understand what you mean Paul. I just notice that from rounds 3 onwards he looks very lathargic and looks too tired to throw a kick.

Janer, I just presumed that would happen to anyone that takes that much punishment. I think Jenk is different to someone like Parr, who seems to adjust to a fight as needed. Jenk is brilliant, you guys know I'm always praising him and his heart, but Jenk doesn't seem to be as versatile there and then on the spot etc like Parr is.

Good point Paul C. I think he is fit too, but he isn't as adaptable as some. He is technically brillant with the heart of a Lion and I don't think he was totally outclassed by Zam as stated in a previous post. The only real difference between the too was in power. If Jenk had more power, the previous fights would have turned out very different.

Jenk will back from turkey for john scida's october 19th show,he will be fighting someone well credited from brazil on the main event of the card i'll keep you's posted and tell you more about this brazillian and confirm it later on. cheers jason.l

What i am trying to say is that Jenk has more than one weakness. He has a granite jaw, and a huge heart, but his hands are average at best. He lacks KO power and because of that struggles to beat the top fighters. For example in his fight against Zam and Parr he landed plenty of shots but didn't have the power to rock either fighter and when they realised this they started to walk through him and this is where Jenk has problems. Also Jenk ahs limited Knee techniques. He tries to negate knees rather than use them to attack. To say fitness is his only weakness in my opinion is wrong.
