off to thailand again

hey guys im off to thailand again on thursday going to samui first,which iv never been to. i was planning on doing some training at pinyo and maybe WMC but does anyone know of any good gyms further north.. (im staying north end of chaweng)
or any good shops for gear in samui aswel?

i have trained at Pinyo. Thought they were great and very friendly. When i was there i stayed further up chaweng beach aswell, it wasn't a very long scooter ride to get there.

oh really sounds good man. so was it like 10 mins? or 20? or longer
from what iv been told pinyo is really good.

i think i might also check out super pro. a friend told me it is good. not far for me to go either

I think it was somewhere round 10 or 15 mins, i wasn't paying to much attention to time i was just crusin around. Superprosamui must be reletively new (is it?) i don't remember it being there the last time i was there, Which was over 2 years ago.

not sure if its new or not. its been there a while but i dunno about 2 years. definatly looks new !

I was there about a year and a half ago. Pinyo is great.

The ride from Chaweng to Pinyo is about 20 mins and it's the main road over the hills. so it can get a bit hairy over the hills with trucks and stuff. There is (or was) a small WMC gym in Chaweng though. Up the end of the markets by the lake, that was pretty good.

I had a look at superpro and wasn't impressed. It looked new, but there were about ten tourists lined up on bags and the trainer was counting out punches and kicks. I might have caught it on a bad day though.

back home now. wish i was still in thailand.
i trained at super pro on samui and at patong boxing gym in phuket.
patong gym is really good ,great trainers.
a few funny fights (and some good ones) at patong stadium..
a few fights were abit of a joke.. but i wont speak of that!
definatly recommend for you to train at patong boxing gym!
from patong stadium its just up the road abit turn right onto 50 pee road. and up the mountains about 2 kms. awesome location!
