Doubt it. Green showed last time it took too much out of him to fight at Mundine's weight, and there's no way Mundine would be able to come up.

Can the Cruiserweight belt really be on the line in a non-cruiserweight bout?

Either way, doesn't interest me, Briggs v Green however.......

Pacquiao/Cotto was at 145 for a 147 belt. Anything is possible in boxing.

Sure will,

Rematch clause in their contract. Great payday for them both to retire on. All will watch hoping their folk hero Green will shut Anthony the Mouth Mundine up, only to watch Green recieve the same serving he got Green v Mundine 1.

This fight will eventually happen

Green will absolutely destroy Mundine at a Cruiserweight. I know allot about the lead up before their first fight and it was not ideal for Green at all. He will not take anything away from Mundine's win in the first fight , but he should not have been in the ring.
Let them fight at a Cruiserweight and see the difference.

Of course Green has a better chance at cruiserweight. It is not Mundine's division.

He has a better chance..... But still slim. Mundine will toy with him .

Bit biased knowing Danny, knowing how he was leading into the first fight etc. Still a long way off this fight ever taking place. But I will be willing to put 2k down on Danny if/when the fight happens. So anyone who thinks Choc will do it easily I will be expecting you will be putting your money at the time.

It is easy to look good when you fight taxi drivers and refuse to rematch on dodgy decisions.......

Apparently after people claimed that the RJJ loss to Danny Green wasn’t a dive allot of people on the forum were saying; That RJJ was retiring hmmm, apparently the RJJ VS Bernard fight wasn't going to happen....**** both came true, there was also the point that people came up with about Green never taking Mundine on again (even though there was a clause in their first fight).... hate to bring back old news but fu$%, its just a big circle and marketing

Boxing is BS, so many bad decisions and rigged fights

Mundines been fighting as a Middleweight @ 72 kg and they want him to come in above 79kg to fight 3 weights higher @ Cruiserweight
Cruiserweight is up to 90.7 kg nearly 20kg heavier than Mundines fight weight and Green gets on TV talking about "don't let him fool you about the weight difference it's nothing i came down to fight him blah blah blah"
Green never came down to fight Mundine they fought @ Super Middleweight where they'd both been fighting and to try to compare that to what Mundine is being asked to do Green is completely taking the piss

I am also of the opinion that Green using an indigenous australian charity, whilst a good cause, as a tool to force mundine to fight, is a cheap ploy.
Mundines camp wants the fight anyway, they just want to build public interest through the media first.

Boxing can not be compared to Muay Thai. I disagree that it is boring , boxing is an art and science of its own.
I do agree that there is some dodgy fights that happen as in every fight code.
When a fight is legit and a good match there is nothing better to watch.
Green and Mundine II will be a good fight if it happens and Green will be 100% at the higher weight.
I all fairness maybe they should fight at Light Heavy to meet in the middle of their weight divisions, Danny should be able to make that comfortably still and Choc wont feel undersized ...
If he wants a chance at another belt he will have to fight at Cruiser though.
