Just curios, usually when I take a hard shot to the head in a fight though it doesn't really rock me I often get dejavu, does this happen to anyone else?

Yes Daniel I get it too, from hard sparring. Started happening more often after I had a few conussions, before that the dejavu wasn't as frequent. As with you I get dejavu without getting rocked.
A blow hard enough to give dejavu is classified as a "sub-concussive blow". That is that it does not cause a concussion, but is forceful enough that it adds to the accumulative damage to your brain. Yes it has been shown that you can accumulate brain damage from multiples of lighter blows without ever getting KO'ed or even "rocked". This also applies to blows that make you see flashes of white/black. In fact, before the new grades for diagnosing cuncussion severity came in recently, any change in conciousness caused by a blow or strike was classified as a minor concussion.
Speaking of getting "rocked", every time someone is rocked or wobbled they have just gotten a minor concussion.
So yeah, as Dave said, try to keep your hands up. I should prob start doing the same.
Wait till you get dejavu of getting dejavu (from the same person smacking you with the same dejavu inducing shot on two separate occasions). This has happened to me a few times & is freaky as hell because you know it's happened before but you really can't be sure because you are having dejavu. Confused yet? lol

If you are in dejavu 'mode' then you probably aren't in fighting mode, you might fight on in autopilot but any good ref will be watching you like a hawk and the judges will know it too. Probably be good to work on some automatic instinct for when this happens, to take the focus off. You know what you're best at or what comes easiest when under pressure.
Be alert it is probably a glitch in the matrix!

Thanks trolla, I'm glad I'm not the only person who gets this...all this talk of concussions, let's never speak of it again....
