10pm tonight Fox Sports 3 is "Best Aussie Battles".
The online guide is : "A look back at the greatest clashes between Australia's Muay Thai Kickboxing warriors".
Hammer indicated in the vid thread it was a new show, but wasn't sure of the bouts. They are from the last 5 or so years. It will feature JWP and Corbett.
Hopefully no Hammerfist.
Anyone know the bouts on it?

Great show, if you missed it it will be repreated on Fox Sports 2 at 3.30am on Wed 30th December.
Bouts were:
Daddy Kool v Ben Ritter (the rematch)
Staiti v Sarracino (their 4th bout)
Preacher v Dhzabar
Soren v Sean Wright
Mardsui Tum v Boom Boom
3 fights for Carnage - v Sakai, then Wehan then Emmanuel Payet
4 fights for JWP - v Preacher (1 and 2), Yod and Eli.
Worth setting the recorder for.

some good fights, I would hardly call some of them great aussie battles however, like preacher vs dhzabar? wtf, there are alot of better fights that should of been on that show. and there should of been some old school fights from way back , from the early evos!

the old school stuff has been done several times (which in itself would warrant a replay from the Fox archives) so it is good to see a recent compilation.

Yep, to my knowledge this would be the 4th instalment in the "best of" from Fox.
We have had:
- Top 10 kickboxing fights (as voted by viewers)
- Top 10 kickboxing fights (as selected by commentary team)
- Best knockouts
Hammer said this current batch they chose from the last few years.
If you have the other three, a good opportunity to catch it and add to the collection.
Agreed, a re-run of the other three would be good.
Anyone know if there were other compilatons of Aussie kickboxing I may have missed?

The Jap & Thai that Carnage fought were big boys, would have been massive in their countries!

If you are going to set the timer, try and catch the end of the show before it - best of boxing for 2009. The last fight on that show is Solomon Haumono v Michael Kirby. Both the fox commentary crew and the MC commented after the fight that it would be one of the best Heavyweight boxing fights in Australian history. A real brawl, and lasts about 10 rounds before a KO gets unleashed.
