whats the update re the NC on the Spong fight? Were you able to get it overturned to a TKO.

A DQ would mean a win to Spong and that certainly didn't happen.

hey Russ, it was ruled a no contest on the night, somehow, but that was never overturned. I spoke with Stefan Fox at the time of the fight and again that night and was told i had 24hrs to lodge a formal complaint. I asked how to do this and the reply was "leave it to me". Nothing has ever happened.
In saying that Russ i think everyone that saw the fight know how it ended, but how it was ruled was 2 different things.
There was a contest, which Nathan won by KO fair and square, un-forntuatly he was looking at me when the Ref waved it off, and when he looked back at Spong he thought the fight was still going, as the ref failed to correctly protect the fallen fighter or correctly wave the fight off, so CARNAGE did what he's renowened for and went in for the kill.
I could go on, but won't, were just looking to getting into 2010

I HATE that this isn't an official KO win to Carnage because the fight was amazing; Muay Thai's Hagler-Hearns. In fact, it still p!sses me off to this day, but I just go back and re-watch it and I feel much better.
