hi everyone, so the story is....I've got a fight on a pretty big show [buakaw vs ramazan!] on the 28th [monday] and for the last 2 days I've been spewing my guts out.
Was just wondering what I should take to try get at least some kind of cardio back as I will only be able to train for 3 days for this fight. any help would be appreciated.

Atm I've just been taking electrolytes.

Electrolytes should help - do you have access to Lucozade?

Speaking with a fighter recently who cut weight by skipping - he came in 4kg overweight at the weigh in (24 hours before major pro bout).

He made weight (skipped for hours) and after weigh in, he gulped down as much food as he could. He now regrets not having small quantities more often, as it almost sent his system into shock. I would think the same for you. To eat big, because you feel better, could be a disaster so think about small portions more often.

This website says first 24 hours heaps of liquid, after that simple foods - suggesting rice and banana. Both should help with carb loading yet be bland enough not to set anything off. Not sure if this is what you have, have you seen a doctor?

BTW - the other fight lost on points. After all the skipping his legs were gone.

If you opponent is aware of your condition, watch out for body shots.

Good luck Padawan, make sure you upload the clip to your thread.

Don is a very technical fighter, he could go far with some fine tuning.

The speed of kicks at the start of the second round, from both boys, was impressive.

Don was able to mix it up and control with elbows and knees as well, not bad for a newbie farang against a seasoned local.

Good teep, fast hands. And low hands. Reminds me of someone else ....

3 fights in 9 days is a big ask, if this clip is the most recent, by swapping to southpaw in the later rounds he has telegraphed his left thigh has been tenderised.

My bad. I watched from the first round this time, and definately southpaw. When I picked it up the first time I came in late and saw him fighting from an orthodox stance midway through the fight. If I watched the first round I wouldn't have had the drama and seen him start as a southpaw. As you know, the first round is generally the slow feeling out period, and I don't tend to give it to much attention.
