Hey guys,
I don't know about you, but I reckon K-1 should introduce another division of sorts.

They have so many really huge guys now that I reckon they could easily maintain it with enough fights.

I know they are all heavy-weights, but I just don't think it's far to be throwing in someone 100kg with someone that is 140+.

I guess it's OKish maybe if the bigger guy isn't as experienced, but what's going to happen once these monster guys get 20 or 30 K-1 fights under their belt.

A couple of years ago I took up training just for fitness, and I thought it might make be a better photographer. While I was doing it I noticed the huge difference in power from checking lowkicks from guys that were 70kg to checking guys that were 105kg. The difference was huge. OMG, I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to try and check someone that's 50 or 60kg heavier.

Anyway, I really hope they do something, because I don't want to see fighters of Mirko and Jeromme's quality having to adapt to a running technique to be able to survive in fights against the Bob Sapps. I honestly don't find that interesting to watch at all.

Well I suppose that traditionaly the heavy wieght div has been known as the the best of the best ie: the big guy should (arguably) beat the little guy. I know this is not always the case but the view is a heavy weight champ is the best in the world. This is why you see guys like Ozkan and Slowinski putting on the weight so they can compete as heavy weights. For some reason this dosen't seem to be the case when you add the word super infront of heavy weight. Eg Who is the world heavy weight boxing champ? A: Lenox lewis. Now who is the world SUPER heavy weight boxing chapion? and don't go looking it up on line. Besides all that K1 is alredy starting to get to hard to follow without anouther devision.

Thats my view anyway.

Well I guess that was a bit of a loaded question. As I just found out if do happen to look up on line, to see who is the world SUPER heavy weight champ, you find that none of the big 4 feds have a listing for super heavy weight.

Thinking about it, mayby that gives my point a bit of extra punch. Mayby the view is your a heavy weight or your not.

Paul do you think that Lebanner would not be able to beat Sapp? I reckon Lebanner at this stage could probably take him.

Koshy,

I'm sure he could.
But I just hate watching guys being forced to run.
Check out Sapp V Mirko. Mirko landed, but I justed hated watching the way the poor guy had to flee. I mean, I don't friggen blame him, it's just that I hate watching fights like that.

I mean, compare the Mirko Vs Sapp fight and imagine what Mirko Vs Jeromme would be like. I don't see either of them manically having to run like that.
Also, imagine what Sapp Vs this new giant Brazilian guy might be like. I don't think Sapp would make someone as heavy as him run.

I just think it's getting too much too often with the big guys.
Don't get me wrong, I think Sapp's great. But why don't they line up against one of the really huge guys so we can see two big guys trade. There seems quite a few now well over 6'7 and around 130+
