Looks like foxtel aren't showing the final of K1 WGP on Main Event this year for some reason. Anyone know where we'll be able to watch the event tomorrow night in VIC?

Foxtel are scum for not showing it!!! The RJJ vs Green replay is on instead.
Woohoo.

Cheers!

Foxtel is a joke.

K1 far better than watching Hopeless Jones Hasbeen .

Yeah it's an absolte joke. I've ordered and watched it on foxtel for the last 2 years and this years lineup looks like the best yet! Alas they're not showing it!!
So again does anyone know where else we can watch it? Online or something? There must be a way!!!! Mike Schiavellos commentating so it MUST be getting shown somewhere on something in OZ!

Im spewing its not getting shown as well, but have you thought of the reasons why it dosnt get shown, i can only assume its because of the sales of the k1 on main event not doing so well, if it was rating highly im sure theyd be showing it.....

thats how Tv works......

although having a whinge on the forum is a good way to start......

get your act together Foxtel.........

took my comment out....

if not K1 has its own channel on Youtube and the fights are usually up there straight away....

Yeah i've just found the "K1 channel" and have been wondering how long till they put the fights up on there if at all. Fingers crossed. Watching some old school fights on there now! Pretty good - Aerts vs Hoost '93!!!

really? So they aren't showing it obviously because it doesn't turn a profit. Would you enjoy working for a loss?

Perhaps if a few more 'fans' in Australia paid for the mainevent subscription during previous telecasts rather than scammed internet ripoff sites then we would be have been able to enjoy it once again.

To be fair - the K-1 WGP in the past has been a free broadcast all around the world & in Japan.

Why would you expect Australians to pay for something that's free to everyone else?

it isn't free to everyone else...it is on Fuji TV (free in Japan) and HDNet which is cable.

Of course there are ways to tap via the internet but that simply doesn't make it worthwhile to screen over here anymore.
It would be interesting to see the level of subscriptions from previous telecasts...I would be surprised if few outside the hardcore fans picked it up unlike boxing where a lot of mums and dads would have bought the various Mundine and Green shows that come around.

because they don't get enough ppv buys for k-1 events.

even ufc which airs 2 times usually a month gets huge amount of ppv buys.

and to foxtel k-1 isn't big enough and they tried to promote it and make it appealing to the Aussie's but it failed.

to be a fight fan buying ppv every month is costly. on top of that your foxtel etc.

so it not as easy as saying "why can't you damn internet thieves just pay for the ppv's"

as hellfighter stated we cant discuss other ways of viewing it soooooooooooooooooooooo to bad so sadddddddddddddddddddddd can't tell you guys =]

Hrmm yeh but then when it isn't being shown people have no choice but to go to the net.
Vicious cycle..

not all sites are scammed rip offs

some are very legit and a few are even supported by the organisations/broadcasters

so why would a smart person pay twice to watch it ( 1. foxtel & 2. mainevent PPV ) and not always see it live when they can pay just like US$20 (jamaica for example) or for free and watch it live online ?
