This is the kick early in the first round that set the tone for the rest of the fight. Here, Matt Gardner (7 wins from 7 fights) clocked Lachlan Stewart with a round kick. From here, Stewart wore some leather and did well to get through the first round. His staying power was drained later in the fight when the referee stopped the fight

Noel 'Chopper' Arthur accounted for Tony Favuzzi. The fight was stopped by the ref when Favuzzi was unable to keep his balance after the second eight count.

Although Danial Ritchards (kicking) and Craig Lambert mix it up in what was supposed to be a Muay Thai fight, it didn't go ahead thanks to the NSW State Government departments - Department of Sport and Recreation and the Boxing Authority.

Congrats to John Iannou on a BRILLIANT show... I've been to a lot of NSW shows that have bored the cacca out of me but I loved just about every fight on this night. I mean this was one of those truly QUALITY nights of kickboxing that stays in your memory for a long time.

Catch on on FOX SPORTS on July 4... definitely worth watching.

BTW this was the first JNI show I have been to... an excellent promoter and the BEST ORGANISED promoter I have ever seen. Other promoters can take a leaf out of John's book.

With all the CRAP that the dep of sport n.s.w & boxing commision gave john aside,,,it looks like it was yet another TOP night by john..i have been a many JNI promos and there ALLWAYS top notch...
now if maybe those 2 retarded departments could wake up to themselfs..maybe we can see more and better fight nights

p.s it that a fairly fresh cut on the big JWP left eyebrow ??

Hey Sniffa yes those cuts on Wayne are fresh he only fought the Friday before against a fighter from Fenechs camp called Bika he too was there on the night.
