Female fighters: Sarah O'Connell

WPMF World title holder Sarah O'Connell talks to International Kickboxer about trying to forge a career in kickboxing.

“My biggest hurdle is trying to make a career out of my fighting, gaining sponsorship, public recognition and so on,” says Sarah from Boonchu.

“This is something that I want to make my life out of, and it’s very difficult to financially keep afloat. There needs to be more public support from the non-fighting community, to make people aware that we are here and that we train just as hard if not harder than the guys, and we too can kick arse.”
